Shop at our stores, get your face-painted, enjoy the holiday light displays and meandering carolers, and wish your neighbors well!

WinterWalk & Winter Parade is sponsored by the Village of Valatie, the Valatie Santa Claus Club, and the Valatie Economic Redevelopment Association (V.E.R.A.) 

Santa's helpers are preparing for the 2023 holiday season and the Valatie Winter Parade with Santa steps off at 5:00PM sharp! 

Local Fire Departments are joining the parade! 

The parade will be populated by firetrucks and rescue vehicles from eighteen area fire departments, as well as carolers from regional organizations. An important highlight of Valatie's winter parade is Santa Claus riding on his sleigh. 

Following  the Parade, Santa will visit inside the spacious Gymnasium located within the Martin H. Glynn Municipal Building (Not  the Valatie Theatre).

Santa will greet kids and offer a goodie bag for each child age ten and under. Mrs. Claus will attend!

A variety of live musical performances include Live Music Up & Down Main Street!

Kids of all ages will enjoy special holiday productions... and hot Kettle Korn and Sweet Treat Cotton Candy on Main Street!

Carolers, + Live Music + Face-Painting + Holiday Goodies + merchant promotions = merriment and more! 

Snap some winter-time pictures including holiday views of our iconic waterfalls, and do some holiday shopping with our eclectic mix of stores in the charming and historic Village of Valatie.
